Sunflower Sunburst Mixed Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This tall eye catching sunflower has large bi coloured flowers in shades of red yellow and orange.

Grow towards the back of a sunny mixed border. An easy to grow annual that is a magnet for attracting a host of wildlife into the garden.

Leave the seed heads over winter to feed the birds.

Sow between late April - May into a fine layer of raked warm moist soil 13mm deep where the plants are to grow space the plants to 30 - 45cm apart.

Alternatively sow during March on a sunny window sill in pots.

Gradually harden off planting the sunflowers 40 - 45cm apart.
