This long cropping variety can be grown for summer or autumn use.

The large solid white heads have an excellent flavour.

Cauliflowers require a deep fertile humus rich soil in partial shade that has been well dug in autumn, they do not grow well in acidic soil so adding lime to the soil may be necessary.

 

Water well when transplanting and during dry spells. 

 

Sow outside in a seed bed between March - May sowing thinly in drills 1.25cm deep thin the seedlings eventually spacing the plants 60cm apart and 60cm between rows in their final growing position treading the plant in well.

For an Autumn crop. 

 

Sow between October - March under glass planting out in spring for a summer crop.
