This is compact winter hardy variety that has creamy white curds with a good flavour. 

 

A self covering cauliflower that is suitable for harvesting in early spring.

Cauliflowers require a deep fertile humus rich soil in partial shade that has been well dug in autumn, they do not grow well in acidic soil so adding lime to the soil may be necessary.

 

Water well when transplanting and during dry spells. 

 

Sow outside in a seed bed between May - July sowing thinly in drills 1.25cm deep thin the seedlings eventually spacing the plants 60cm apart and 60cm between rows in their final growing position treading the plant in well.
