Zinnia Peppermint Stick Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This old fashioned border flower has an excellent mix of colourful flowers each one stripped a different colour.

They provide excellent long lasting summer displays in mixed beds, borders and containers.

A superb hardy annual that makes a good cut flower and are excellent plants for encouraging bee's and butterflies into the garden.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed between April and May 5mm deep into finely raked soil that's been well watered when the seedlings emerge thin to 25 cm apart.

Alternatively sow into seed trays on a sunny window sill March - April when the plants are large enough to handle transplant into trays to grow on.

Plant out when the risk of frost has passed.
