Rudbeckia Prairie Sun Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bright biennial plant has a green central cone surrounded by a golden ring and bright yellow petals. They stand on strong stems creating excellent displays.

Grow in drifts for a great effect in a sunny mixed border to flower from mid summer.

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator by thinly sowing the seed on top of a small seed tray of moist compost keep the compost moist.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed to Flower the following year.
