Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors: Start seeds indoors in February to April. Fill seed trays with fine seed compost and sow the seeds thinly on the surface. Gently cover with a light layer of compost or vermiculite, maintaining a temperature of 18-21°C. Keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged, until germination, which typically occurs in 10-21 days.

 

Outdoors: For direct sowing, wait until late spring after the last frost. Prepare the soil in a sunny, sheltered location and scatter the seeds, lightly raking them into the soil. Water gently to keep the soil moist during the germination period.
