Verbena Vervain Buenos Aires Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This cottage garden perennial has strong erect stems with green foliage and bears beautiful long-lasting lilac-purple flowers from mid summer.

They are perfect for growing towards the back of a sunny mixed border and great for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

This variety is a shorter version of Verbena Bonariensis.

Cut back after flowering

Sow between January - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards after the risk of frost has passed.
