This popular herb has bright green flat serrated foliage that has a good flavour it can be grown inside or out for fresh leaves year round.

Parsley needs a well drained fertile soil in a sunny area ideal for growing on window sills, containers and borders.

The seed can be sown year round on a sunny windowsill sow thinly into pots and cover with a fine layer of compost.

Sow outdoors from March - July in drills 1.25cm deep thinning or transplanting the plants when they're large enough to handle spacing them 15cm apart.
