Sowing Instructions

 

For early blooms, sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays filled with fine compost. Lightly press seeds onto the surface and avoid covering, as light aids germination. Keep soil moist and maintain a temperature of 18–22°C.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and gradually harden them off before planting outdoors after the risk of frost has passed.

 

For direct outdoor sowing in May, choose a well-prepared bed or container, lightly rake the soil, and scatter seeds thinly. Water gently and thin seedlings as needed to ensure healthy growth.
