Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds 1.5 cm deep in prepared soil or containers. Germination usually occurs within 1 to 2 weeks. Thin seedlings to 30 cm apart when large enough to handle. Nasturtiums prefer poorer soils and do not require feeding, which encourages more flowers than foliage.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during dry spells but avoid over-fertilising, as this reduces flowering. Trailing stems can be trained over edges or allowed to cascade naturally. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering.
