Sowing Instructions

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing 30 to 40 cm apart. Harden off indoor seedlings and plant out after the last frost.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during dry spells until plants are established. Once mature, Melinis nerviglumis requires little care and thrives in sunny, well-drained positions. Cut back spent flower stems in autumn or leave them for winter interest.
