Description

Shasta Daisy Alaska Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This long lived cottage garden perennial has large white daisy flowers with a bright yellow centre that stand on strong stems above dark green foliage.

They will certainly bring a splash of colour to the garden during summer and are excellent for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

Cut down after flowering

Sow between February - May on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards for them to flower the next summer.
