Statice Special Mix Seeds

Sowing instructions

 

Sow seeds thinly in trays or modules about 0.5 cm deep in moist compost and place in a warm, bright location. Maintain consistent moisture and transplant seedlings when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out after the last frost, spacing 25–30 cm apart to allow for airflow and branching.

 

Grow and maintenance

 

Grow in full sun in well drained soil. Statice prefers low fertility conditions and minimal feeding. Water during dry spells until established, then reduce watering to encourage strong stems and flower production. Deadhead to prolong blooming or harvest stems when flowers are fully open for drying.
