Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds on the surface of moist compost and press lightly without covering, as light aids germination. Keep at 15 to 20°C until seedlings appear. Transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 25 to 30 cm apart. Dianthus prefers minimal root disturbance and benefits from early sowing.
