Cornflower Ball Mix ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This popular hardy annual is a cottage garden favourite with a mix of both blue and white flowers creating long lasting displays during summer.

They attract plenty of butterflies growing in drifts gives a great effect.

Sow March - June or August - October to flower the following year

Germination time 10-14 days

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Plant in full sun or partial shade

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed in a sunny border from March - April in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 5mm deep. When the seedlings emerge thin them to 10-15cm.

Alternatively sow September to flower the following year.
