Cephalophora Ananasbloem Pineapples Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This unusual looking annual is a delightful border plant with bright yellow pom pom flowers that stand on errect stems over mid green foliage.

The flowers are very aromatic with a distinctive fruity aroma when brushed against.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between February - April in a propagator or on a warm window sill at 18-21 degrees onto moist compost cover the seed with 3mm of sieved compost.

Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle into trays or individual pots to grow on.

Harden off the plants before planting out after the risk of frost has passed 30cm apart.
