Strawberry Yellow Cream Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This delicious sweet tasting wild strawberry has small creamy white fruits.

A compact variety with small white flowers grow them in the garden border pots, planters or window boxes.

A good advantage of growing these little berries is birds find them unattractive as they don't look ripe.

Sow February - April

Germination time 14 - 21 days

Loam or sandy soil thats acidic, neutral or alkaline

Harvest June - October

Companion plants lettuce, onions, spinach

Do not plant with Tomatoes, potatoes peppers or aubergine

Pick when the strawberries are red and ripe

A good source of vitamin c

Use for delicious deserts

Sow between February - April in a propagator or on a warm window sill onto sieved moist compost and press the seed down gently.

Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough into 7.5cm pots to grow on. Harden off before planting out when all risk of frost has passed 25cm apart.
