Sorrel Lyonski Herb Seed - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow leafy plant has lime green pointed leaves with a tangy lemon flavour.

Do not plant with beans, peas and corn

Pick some leaves from each plant when they are young for a continuous supply

Use in Salads or as spinach

Make small successional sowings in fertile well drained soil in a sheltered spot to ensure a good supply of leaves throughout the summer months.

Sow outside between late March - July in rows where they are to grow 1.5cm deep and 30cm between rows. When the seedlings appear thin to 15cm apart.
