Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April, planting them 1-2 cm deep in moist, well-drained compost. Keep in a warm, bright spot at 15-20°C for germination. Transplant seedlings into larger pots or directly outdoors after the last frost, spacing plants 60-90 cm apart to allow for their large growth habit.

 

For outdoor sowing, plant seeds in a prepared seedbed in late spring. Thin seedlings once established and transplant to their final positions in autumn.
