Phlox Moody Blues Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bushy half hardy annual is smothered in attractive flowers in varying shades of blue throughout summer time.

They are perfect for edging beds and borders and using in mixed container displays on a sunny patio.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.

Or sow outdoors where they are to flower 0.5cm deep into finely prepared soil thin the seedlings to 15cm apart.
