Cornflower Classic Fantastic Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This fast growing hardy annual is a cottage garden favourite and is perfect colour for beds and borders.

The flowers are a mix of light, dark blue and white in colour and will create stunning displays during summer.

They attract plenty of butterflies grow in drifts for great effect.

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed in a sunny border from March - April in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 5mm deep. When the seedlings emerge thin them to 10-15cm.

Alternatively sow September to flower the following year.
