Cornflower Classic Fantastic Seeds

Cornflower Classic Fantastic is a hardy annual mix featuring single and double blooms in a range of blue shades, from pale sky to deep indigo, often with frosted white edges. This reselected strain offers improved uniformity and long stems ideal for cut flowers.

 

A favourite in wildflower meadows, cottage gardens, and pollinator borders, it attracts bees and butterflies while adding soft texture and colour. Easy to grow and drought-tolerant once established, it thrives in full sun and poor to moderately fertile soil.

Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to June or in late summer for earlier blooms the following year. Prepare a fine seed bed in full sun and sow 5 mm deep in rows or drifts. Thin seedlings to 10–15 cm apart once established.

 

Water moderately and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Suitable for borders, wildlife gardens, and edible flower use.
