This easy to grow half hardy annual has a lovly blend of pastel coloured flowers that open in the evening giving a delicious scent.

Grow them in mixed borders or along pathways so their fragrance can be appreciated.

☀️ Sow March - April 

☀️Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's alkaline or neutral 

☀️Germination Time 7-10 days

Sow from March on a sunny window sill into a tray of moist compost covering with 6mm of sieved compost. When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on into trays spacing the plants 5cm apart to grow on.

 

Gradually harden off the plants when all risk of frosts has passed spacing the plants 30cm apart.

 

Alternatively sow direct outside in April into finely raked moist soil in a sunny spot when the seedlings emerge gradually thin them to 30cm apart.
