These compact hardy annuals have a profusion of semi double flowers in a delightful creamy yellow colour with dark orange markings on each petal they bloom over dark green foliage during summer perfect for borders or containers. 

 

The flowers and leaves are edible and can be used in a variety of dishes.

Sow March - May 

 

Sow into individual pots 3 or 4 seeds per pot on a sunny window sill when the seedlings are large enough to handle pot into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

Plant out when all risk of frost has passed.

 

Alternatively sow the seed direct into baskets and containers from late April where they are to grow.
