Sowing Instructions

 

Direct sow seeds outdoors from March to July. Plant seeds 0.5 cm deep in rows spaced 30 cm apart. Thin seedlings to 20 cm apart as they grow to allow space for heads to develop.

 

For early crops, sow seeds indoors in February, using seed trays filled with compost. Keep trays at 15-20°C and transplant hardened-off seedlings into the garden after the last frost.

 

Harvest individual leaves as needed or cut entire heads when fully mature. Succession sow every two weeks for a continuous supply.
