This bright and colourful half hardy annual is a border favourite with vivid deep orange flowers providing long lasting colour.

They are excellent for filling gaps towards the front of a sunny border or mixed container displays.

Deadhead to prolong flowering.

Sow between February - May on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 6mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
