Kale Redbor ORGANIC Seeds

 

This hardy winter vegetable can be harvested over a long period of time during winter. 

 

 

Sow outside May - July in a prepared seed bed sowing thinly in rows 1.5cm deep keep the soil moist. When the plants have around 5 leaves transplant to their final position leaving 60cm between plants and 50cm between rows firm in and water well.

 

Sow indoors February - April in a trays and cover with a fine layer of compost place on a warm windowsill or in a warm greenhouse grow on until the plants are large enough to handle then transplant into tray 5cm apart to grow on.

 

Gradually accustom the plants to outside planting out when the risk of frost has passed leaving 60cm between each plant and 50cm between rows.
