Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to September in shallow drills 1 cm deep, spacing rows 15-20 cm apart for baby leaf production. Lightly cover with soil, water gently, and keep the soil moist. Germination occurs quickly in warm conditions.

 

For an early or late-season crop, sow under cover from February or in autumn for winter harvesting. Thin seedlings as needed to promote healthy growth.

 

Harvest baby kale leaves when they reach 8-15 cm tall, cutting them just above the base. Continuous picking ensures a prolonged harvest of fresh, tender leaves.
