Hyssop ORGANIC Herb Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bushy perennial herb has clusters of bright blue flowers on slender spikes with aromatic pointed leaves during summer.

A shrubby plant that makes a great addition to the flower border or containers it is very attractive to bees and butterflies.

A traditional medical herb to aid digestion, coughs, colds and as an antiseptic.

The flowers can be used in pot pourri and the leaves added to a variety of culinary dishes.

Cut back in spring

Can be used in a variety of dishes, teas and as a medicinal herb for sore throats, coughs, colds and digestive problems.

Sow between March - August into a tray of moist compost and place in cold frame or cool greenhouse.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into individual pots to grow on.

Transplant out into the border July - September spacing the plants 30cm apart.
