Gaura Lindheimen Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bushy multi stemmed upright perennial has lance shaped green leaves with exquisite white pink edged petals from early summer.

A long flowering plant that can be grow towards the back of a sunny mixed border looks very effective grown in drifts.

Excellent for attracting wildlife into the garden.

Grow in pots and container mixed displays.

Germination time 14 - 21 days.

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Flowers June - August the same year if planted early

Ideal for beds, borders, cottage, wildflower, containers

Cut the plant in half after flowering to encourage a second flush of flowers

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays or into small pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
