Cosmos Rubenza Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This well branched hardy annual has dark ruby red flowers that fade to pink as with age they stand above ferny foliage blooming profusely during summer.

Easy to grow plants for for mixed beds and borders.

Planting ideas Beds, borders, cottage low maintenance or cut flower

Dead head to prolong flowering

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.

Sow outdoors between April - May where they are to flower thin to 30cm apart.
