Cosmos Psyche White is a half-hardy annual producing masses of glistening white flowers with delicately ruffled petals, standing above fine, ferny foliage. The blooms, often semi-double, create a soft, cloud-like effect that complements both pastel and fiery planting schemes. Long stems make it excellent for cutting, while its nectar-rich flowers attract bees and butterflies throughout summer. Sowing Instructions

 

Sow indoors from February to April on a warm windowsill or in a propagator. Cover seeds lightly with 5–6 mm of compost and keep moist at 18–21°C. Germination takes 14–21 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing 30–40 cm apart. Harden off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in May once soil has warmed. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and cut stems for arrangements when buds are just opening.
