Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to April or directly outdoors from late April to May. For indoor sowing, fill seed trays or pots with fine compost, sow seeds thinly on the surface, and lightly cover with compost. Maintain a temperature of 18-21°C and keep the soil moist until germination.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 20-30 cm apart in a sunny, sheltered spot.

 

For outdoor sowing, scatter seeds onto well-prepared soil, lightly rake over, and water gently. Thin seedlings as necessary to ensure proper spacing.
