Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds outdoors from March to May in a sunny, well-drained location. Scatter seeds thinly on the surface of the soil, press them gently into the ground, and cover lightly with a thin layer. Keep the soil moist until germination, then thin seedlings to 20-25 cm apart for adequate space.

 

For an earlier start, sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays filled with fine compost. Press seeds lightly into the surface and keep at a temperature of 18-21°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost.

 

Water regularly and deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering. Cosmos Dwarf Sensation Mixed is easy to care for and produces long-lasting, cheerful colour throughout the summer.
