Cornflower Red Ball Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This tall variety has lance shaped grey green leaves and long flowering double rosy pink flowers on tall slender stems throughout summer.

An easy to grow annual that attracts valuable wildlife into the garden grow in a sunny mixed border for long lasting displays.

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed in a sunny border between March - May in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 5mm deep.

When the seedlings emerge thin them to 10 - 15cm.

Alternatively sow September to flower the following year.
