Sow between March - April in a cool greenhouse or cold frame into trays of moist compost cover with 5cm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their final flowering position.

Alternatively direct Sow during May into finely raked soil where they are to grow.
