Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to April or directly outdoors from late April to May. For indoor sowing, fill trays or pots with fine compost, sow thinly on the surface, and lightly press into the soil without covering. Maintain a temperature of 18-22°C and keep the compost moist until germination.

 

Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 20-30 cm apart in a sunny, well-drained location.

 

For direct sowing, scatter seeds over well-prepared soil, lightly rake in, and water gently. Thin seedlings as necessary to achieve proper spacing.
