Love In A Mist Mix Seed.

 

A romantic and easy to grow annual, Love-in-a-Mist produces delicate, finely divided foliage and starry blooms in a soft mix of sky blue, rose, lavender, and white. Each flower is framed by a lacy green ruff, giving the plant its common name.

 

After flowering, ornamental seed pods develop perfect for dried arrangements.

 

This cottage garden favourite thrives in full sun and well drained soil, flowering freely from early summer. It self seeds readily and is ideal for borders, informal plantings, and pollinator friendly gardens.

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow directly outdoors from March to May or in autumn for earlier blooms. Sow thinly in rows or scatter in drifts. Cover lightly and keep moist. Thin seedlings to 15 to 20 cm apart. Flowers within 10 to 12 weeks from spring sowing.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Water during dry spells. Deadhead to prolong flowering or allow to self-seed. Leave seed pods to mature for dried use. Minimal care required once established.
