Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds on the surface of moist well drained compost and press lightly without covering deeply as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 15 to 20°C in a propagator or covered tray. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out after the last frost spacing 25 to 40 cm apart. For direct sowing scatter thinly over prepared soil and water gently.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water during prolonged dry spells but avoid overfeeding as this encourages excess foliage. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering or allow some to set seed for natural self sowing. Coreopsis thrives in sunny positions and is ideal for borders containers and meadow style plantings.
