Borage ORGANIC Herb Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This pretty annual herb has plenty of clear blue star shaped flowers with dark green oval leaves on well branched stems.

The leaves have a mild cucumber flavour and can be used in salads and the flowers as a garnish.

Plant amongst the flowers in a sunny mixed border or in the vegetable patch they are excellent for attracting a host of valuable wildlife in the garden.

☀️Sow March - September

☀️Germination 7 - 14 days

☀️All soil types that's alkaline, acidic or neutral

☀️Harvest May - October

☀️Companion plants Tomato's, cabbage, squash & strawberry

☀️Pick the leaves and flowers as required

☀️A good source of vitamin A C and B6

☀️Use the flowers and leaves in drinks and salads

Sow thinly between March - September outside where they are to grow 1.5cm deep into finely raked well drained soil that has already been watered.

Thin the seedling to 20cm apart and keep well watered until the plants are established.
