Sunflower Primrose ORGANIC Seed - Irish Plants Direct

This pretty variety has plenty of pale yellow flowers with a dark centre on many well branched stems throughout summer.

An ideal Plant for smaller gardens or container growing.

Sunflowers are an excellent choice for encouraging wildlife into the garden.

Leave the seed heads over winter to feed the birds.

Sow from late April - May into a fine layer of raked warm moist soil 13mm deep where the plants are to grow space the plants to 30 - 45cm apart.

Alternatively sow in March on a sunny window sill in pots.

Gradually harden off planting the sunflowers 39 - 45cm apart.
