Brassica oleracea ‘Babilon F1’ produces vigorous plants with thick stems and healthy foliage, forming dense, dome shaped heads of deep green florets.

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds 1.5 cm deep in trays or seed beds of moist, well-prepared soil. Germination usually occurs within 2 to 4 weeks. Transplant seedlings when 10 cm tall, spacing 45 cm apart in rows 45 cm apart. Plant firmly and water well. For a continuous supply, sowings can be staggered every 3 to 4 weeks

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during dry spells and feed with a balanced fertiliser to encourage healthy growth. Brassica oleracea ‘Babilon F1’ benefits from firm planting and consistent moisture. Heads are uniform and easy to trim, with bluish-green grains and weights averaging 450 to 650 g. Harvest when heads are firm and well-formed
