Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds on the surface of moist seed compost from January to March. Do not cover, as begonia seeds need light to germinate. Maintain a temperature of 21–24°C and keep compost consistently moist. Germination may take up to 3 weeks. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into individual pots and grow on in bright, warm conditions.

 

 

Outdoors/Containers:

After the last frost, harden off and transplant into borders, pots, or baskets. Space plants 20–30 cm apart. Water regularly and deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering.
