Aquilegia Biedermeier Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
 
This compact hardy perennial has a delightful mix of brightly coloured short spurred double flowers that stand on wiry stems above blue green ferny foliage.
 
A lovely flower for early summer colour around the garden they are very attractive to a range of wildlife.

Planting ideas Beds, borders, cottage gardens, woodland, pots & containers low maintenance 
Cut the flowers down to the base of the plant after flowering. 
Also known as granny's bonnet or columbine
 
Sow between February - June on a warm window sill or in a propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on.
 
Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards for them to flower the following summer.
