Arabis Snowball Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This low growing perennial has mounds of dense dark green foliage that is smothered in small fragrant white flowers from late spring.

It will provide great colour towards the front of a mixed border, rockeries and pots and containers.

Sow February - June

Germination takes 10 - 14 days

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into pots or trays to grow on.

Transplant out when the plants are large enough to handle and the risk of frost has passed to flower the following year.

Alternatively direct sow ito a seed bed between May - June transplanting when they are large enough to handle to their final flowering position.
