Veronica Blue Shades Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This eye catching perennial plant has lance-shaped green leaves with slender spikes of light and dark blue flowers.

Grow towards the front of a sunny border or in mixed container displays they are a magnet for bees and butterflies.

Loam soil that's acidic, alkaline, or neutral

Germination time 28 - 40 days.

Deadhead to prolong flowering, then cut back in after flowering

Sow between March - May onwards on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to individual pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
