Sunflower Zohar F1 ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow single stemmed sunflower has large golden yellow petels that surround a dark brown central cone.

A pollen free variety that makes an excellent cut flower.

Sunflowers are an excellent choice for encouraging wildlife into the garden.

Leave the seed heads over winter to feed the birds.

Sow from late April - May into a fine layer of raked warm moist soil 13mm deep where the plants are to grow space the plants to 30 - 45cm apart.

Alternatively sow in March on a sunny window sill in pots.

Gradually harden off planting the sunflowers 39 - 45cm apart.
