This delightful sunflower provides months of colour with deep green foliage and plenty of strong branches bearing daisy like flowers with deep red brown petals surrounding a dark centre.

Growin a sunny border in groups for a striking effect.

An excellent cut flower for around the home.

Leave the seed heads over winter to feed the birds.

Sow from late April - May into a fine layer of raked warm moist soil 13mm deep where the plants are to grow space the plants to 30 - 45cm apart.

Alternatively sow in March on a sunny window sill in pots.

Gradually harden off planting the sunflowers 39 - 45cm apart.
