This popular and easy to grow vegetable has dark green crinkly leaves with a tender sweet flavour.
Sow little and often during summer for continuous crops.
 
Can be used as baby leaf picking the young leaves as required.
 
This is a good bolt resistant variety.

This plant is one of the most productive in the garden and responds well to repeat cutting of the leaves. Spinach needs a free draining fertile soil in sun or partial shade that is not acidic adding lime may be necessary. 
Keep well watered in dry weather. 
 
Sow the seed thinly from late March - June in a drill 2.5cm deep and 30cm between rows when the seedlings appear and are large enough to handle space the plants 25cm apart.
 
Sow during February in seed trays on a sunny window sill.
