Shoo Fly Plant Seed - Irish Plants Direct

This vigorous annual has wavy green foliage and bears attractive pale blue bell shaped flowers with a delicate white centre followed by an ornamental chinese lantern.

The branches can be cut and dried for flower arrangements around the home.

Also known as the shoo fly plant it is believed to deter white fly

Ideal for beds, borders, cottage, cut flower

Liquid feed fortnightly

Sow between February - April in a propagator or on a warm sunny window sill onto sieved moist compost and press the seed down gently covering lightly.

Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle into trays spacing the plants 5cm apart to grow on.

Harden off before planting out when all risk of frost has passed spacing 40cm apart.
