A hardy, low-growing perennial with vibrant pink or white globe-shaped flowers.
 
Sea Thrift (Armeria maritima) is a charming coastal plant that thrives in well-drained, sandy soil and full sun. It produces compact tufts of grass-like leaves topped with cheerful, globe-like flower heads in shades of pink or white. Growing to a height of 20-25 cm, this variety is perfect for rock gardens, coastal plantings, and borders, adding a burst of colour to dry, sunny spots.
 
Perfect for attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies, Sea Thrift is a drought-tolerant plant that adds texture and interest to any garden or patio container.

Sowing Instructions
 
Sow seeds indoors from March to May, lightly pressing them into moist, well-drained compost. Keep in a cool, sunny location for optimal germination. Once seedlings are large enough, transplant them outdoors after the last frost.
 
Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in late spring, once the soil has warmed. Space plants 20 cm apart to allow for their compact growth habit.
 
Sea Thrift is perfect for adding hardy, colourful blooms to coastal gardens, rockeries, or pots, making it an excellent choice for dry, sunny locations.
